This papier-mâché vase takes the shape of a classic milk carton and references my earlier artwork Milk, a self-portrait in which I served milk to viewers.

Since creating that work, I have developed a strange fascination with milk—not only as nourishment, but as a symbol of our connection to nature. Before culture, status, or identity, we are all dependent on others. Milk becomes a reminder that we are part of a larger living system rather than separate from it.

Mother's Milk transforms an everyday object into a playful sculptural vessel that reflects on care, connection, and our shared origins.

The vase can hold water and fresh flowers if used carefully, but should be treated as an artwork rather than a functional household object.
