An ongoing multidisciplinary exploration of paradise, femininity and the contradictions of our world.

What does paradise look like? Who defines it? And could paradise be female?

Paradise (Is Female?) is my ongoing multidisciplinary art project, bringing together photography, acrylic painting and sculptural objects made from papier-mâché.

Moving between abstraction, symbolism and playful provocation, I explore ideas of femininity, beauty, desire, creation and our complex relationship with the world around us.

I'm interested in paradise not as a perfect destination, but as an ambiguous space — somewhere between longing and reality, harmony and chaos, abundance and fragility.

Working across different materials allows me to approach these questions from multiple perspectives. Organic shapes, bold colours and tactile surfaces form an evolving visual language that moves between the sensual, the humorous and the unsettling.

In a world increasingly shaped by environmental change, conflict and inequality, I find myself questioning what paradise could mean today — and whether we need to rethink our ideas of an ideal world altogether.

The project is still evolving, with new photographs, paintings and sculptural works gradually finding their place within it. I don't have all the answers, and perhaps that's precisely the point.

Paradise is a work in progress. Perhaps it always will be.
