Mountains have a way of making everything feel small. Especially a soap bubble.

For my Autumn 2026 Collection, I returned to three of my favourite mountain landscapes near Vienna — Schneeberg, Rax and Hohe Wand — carrying my camera, litres of soap bubble liquid and the hope that the wind might cooperate.

Mountains have stood for millions of years, shaped by time and the elements. A soap bubble, on the other hand, might survive only a few seconds. Bringing these two extremes together is what continues to fascinate me after 16 years of Soapbubble Studies.

Floating above rocky cliffs, forests and mountain slopes, each bubble briefly becomes part of the landscape before vanishing without a trace.

Created entirely in-camera, without digital compositing, every photograph captures a unique encounter between nature, light and chance — a fleeting moment that can never be repeated.

Each print is produced on museum-quality Hahnemühle Photo Rag paper, individually signed and numbered, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
