Collection: Soapbubble Studies

Embarking on a 14-year Journey: From the Moroccan Desert to a Thriving Project!

Soap Bubble Studies is a long term site-specific project which has been in development for a decade. The project, which has taken place in Morocco, Spain, Australia and Italy, incorporates traditional landscape photography in an array of natural locations that are juxtaposed with man-made soap bubbles. These explorations allow reflection on the fragility, impermanence and varience of life on earth. Each bubble, entirely unique in its composition, lasts for only a minute snapshot in time whilst the natural landscape it exists within continues, seemingly unaffected by the transient suds. To quote Heraclitus,“No man ever steps in the same river twice, for its not the same river and he’s not the same man.” In this regard, Soap Bubble Studies is a call to accept unpredictability.

Soapbubble Studies was featured in magazines like Harvard Business Review ADAC magazine , Heureka and others.

Image :Me captured on camera in the Moroccan desert in 2010, I found myself in front of the lens, creating soap bubbles. Little did I know, this moment marked the beginning of an ongoing project. Join me on this journey as I unveil new artworks every season!"
